Position: Java/J2EE and Oracle database stored procedures Developer
Location: Miamisburg OH
Duration: 4 months



Position Functions or Responsibilities:
o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
o Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)

Preferred Qualifications
o Java/J2EE - development/support of online application, app is using struts framework
o Java - procedural in style
o Oracle database - including stored procedures and packages
o UNIX/Linux OS - including shell scripting and Perl scripting
o Windows OS - some scripting

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Design, build or maintain User Interface application
o Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
o Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices or operation systems
o Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
o Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
