Hi, Currenty i am working as tech support in mumbai since more then 3 yrs..i forgot all languages that i hv lernt during my BE(computer science) graduation. Now if i think that even after doing BE working as tech support is waste.. i wana change my designation in software cmpines..i want to relocate to Bangalore.. My parents are in karnataka.. i hv no one to guide me, wat to do fo career.. iam glad , at least i hv this platform to share..tell suggest me..waiting fo reply..

1.Is that your family dependent on ur earning ? I mean r u the responsible financially in ur family ?
2.Will you be able to manage with out job for 6-12 months ?
3.R u still interested in learning some technology/some additional qualification ?
4.R u ready to take up ur career as a fresher in software companies ?
5.Is there any other dependence apart from financial reasons for shifting to mumbai ?

Please provide the answers to above points to understand c your issue clearly so that it helps us to provide some suggestion based on your inputs.

answers to ur questions..
1.Not completely my family is responsible financially but at age of 27 i feel offended to ask smthg to dad..

2.i will be able to manage without job, if i hv valid reason to convince myself..

3.Yes, i am interested in learning sm technology/additional qualification..

4.i am gettg 3.7/a now, starting the career again below this package, its quite difficult to convinence myself..

5.I dont want to hide anything.. As i a 27 yrs old, parents are searchg match fo me for marriage. Every family wants girl to be localite, so marriage reason i wana relocate to bangalore. After stayg here for 3 yrs in Mumbai, i really dont feel homely, pple thinking frequency dont match with mine. Here pple are selfish. I dont hv single good frnd since 3 yrs to be short...

What I would suggest you is try the below possibility which you feel comfortable.

First of all you should relocate to Bangalore which helps you both personally and professionally,I mean if relocation happens as you told your parents are already searching for match so its easy for you to travel to hubli as and when required, but here one important question arises about ur career, Are you interested to continue job(Any)after your marriage is fixed or will the guy with whom marriage is fixed will allow you to continue or your parents looking guy only in Bangalore ? Thats left to for you to take ca call since its purely personal.

Well when comes to your professional part,
As I am aware its very easy to get Tech Support in Bangalore and if requires we can help u in this regard, but as per my knowledge in Tech Support job you will be having night shifts(most of the time),I am not sure if i ask you to take up some course in Testing or Oracle Certification will you be able to manage along with the Tech Support Job in Bangalore ?
Second Possibility is continue work for another three months and save the money and shift to Bangalore join Some Crash courses on Testing/Oracle Certification ,the reason why i am stressing on testing is since you already lost touch with Languages(java/.net etc),It may be difficult for you to pick up fast but in testing its not the case,If u spend 3 months you can get good knowledge about testing, I can suggest some institutes which are good in Testing and after testing what you can do is ask for experience certificates for 2 years in testing from the institute(Although I dont recommend others since your case is quite different,I feel nothing wrong in this ) and start applying for Testing Openings ,I am not telling you that you will get job immediately but again it depends on how you manage in interviews.

Yes, i will relocate to Bangalore. I dont think in todays life my future life partner will be having any problem if i work after marriage.. If i dont work after marriage then i think i wasted 1 seat of BE (cs), because i am not making best use of it.
In mumbai i am working in night shift only since 3 years because of wch messed up with my health..
My parents are looking a match for me who is basically from karnataka. No matter which part of karnataka he belongs to..Parents are looking in karnataka because we have our community marriage brokers there..
One more twist in my career is- My company selected me to send for US for duration of 1-2 months for training..

Evaga naanu ennu confuse aagidini..

what shud i do now, should i relocate to bangalore by missing the apportunity, Or wait fo some days in same company..?

I agree, i will do the course u suggested me..once i relocate there.. and let me know the good institution names too..

Is it only with my life, there are somany confusions some times i feel..

Training ? Ok After Training is there any agreement btwn u and company that you need to stay there for few months or years ?
