Functional Area: Inside SalesAbout the role:• Communicates by phone and email with cold call and warm lead sales prospects procured from various sources including existing client base, marketing leads, customer references and lists• Qualifies sales opportunities, sets sales appointments and nurtures existing client relationships• Maintains the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database of client and prospect information.Job Responsibilities• Determines level of customer interest• Qualifies sales opportunities based on specific criteria• Sets appointments with prospects• Maintains and updates CRM client and prospect databases with accurate client information and contact/activity data• Makes outbound telephone sales calls to clients and sales prospects• Receives inbound calls and voicemail messages from sales prospects• Composes and sends formal email to sales prospects and existing clients• Receives and processes in-bound email communications from sales prospects and existing clients• Prepares and distributes reports on own activities and results• Provides support on other company projects as neededRequired Skills on the Job• Communication and language skills• Outstanding telephone conversational skills; ability to communicate in a professional manner• Professional, persuasive manner and phone *presence*; project a professional image on the phone and in email• Excellent written and email communication skills• Well-developed time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines• Enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a positive attitude• Some exposure to IT and computer technology industry preferred• Strong PC and keyboard skills• Strong data input skills with attention to detail and accuracy• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)• College Degree in business, marketing, communications, or related fields preferred but not requiredCritical Competencies• Accent neutral language skills, the ability to speak clearly (English)• Outstanding telephone sales and conversational skills• Excellent formal email communication skills• Ability to implement project plans and meet deadlinesDesired Candidate Profile• Fresh B.Sc/ BCA (Information Technologies/ Computer Science/ Electronics) Freshers (2008 & 09 Batch) graduates with excellent academic record, analytical skills and communication skills.
SALARY OFFERED: Rs. 10,000 /- per monthON CONFIRMATION: 1.2 LPAPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A CONTRACT TO HIRE POSITION i.e BASED ON YOUR PERFORMANCE FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS/6 MONTHS YOUR EMPLOYMENT WILL BE CONFIRMED ON PERMANENT BASIS. FOR THE FIRST 3 MONTHS/6 MONTHS YOU WILL BE EMPLOYED ON CONTRACT AND WILL NOT BE ON THE PAYROLLS OF CAPGEMINI.
